What 35x wagering really means, and how to spot a bonus that's good value versus one that isn't.
Wagering requirements (also called playthrough) are the number of times you must bet a bonus before you can withdraw any winnings from it. A '£20 bonus with 35x wagering' means you need to place £700 in bets.
Lower is better. Anything at or below 35x is considered fair in the UK market, while 50x and above is demanding. No-wagering offers, where winnings are paid as cash, are the gold standard but rarer.
Watch the game weighting too. Slots usually count 100% toward wagering, but table games and live casino often count 10% or less, which dramatically slows your progress.
Always read the maximum win cap on no-deposit and free-spins bonuses. A '50 free spins' offer capped at £50 is very different from one with no cap.
